Commentary on "Role, Group and Ego Ideal in Adolescent Development"

Abstract

In the lights of the ongoing anthropological mutation characterized by the diffusion of mass information media, cybernetic network and internet, the author highlights the absence of these elements of context for the formation of the Ego Ideal in today’s adolescents, while describing a mutation of the Super-Ego from an instance that imposes discipline to one that imposes consumption.
